Carbon 12K V3X 12V 12,000lb Winch with MegaPro Hook

The Carbon 12K V3X is Carbon Offroad's current 12V electric winch for 4WD recovery. Its rated line pull is 12,000 lb (5,443 kg) on the first rope layer; line pull reduces as more rope builds on the drum. Carbon's performance chart lists 9,800 lb (4,450 kg) on layer 2, 8,300 lb (3,770 kg) on layer 3 and 7,200 lb (3,270 kg) on layer 4. The manufacturer rounds the first-layer figure to 5,450 kg in its chart.

Fitment

• Rated mounting pattern: 254 x 114.3 mm; verify vehicle-specific bullbar or winch-plate fitment and clearances
• Carbon recommends a minimum 650 CCA battery for winching

Warranty: Limited Lifetime Mechanical Warranty. Electrical and water-ingress cover is 5 years; Carbon says registration within 90 days can extend that cover to 7 years, subject to its warranty terms.
